Hard Sauce Recipe - The Mother Sperry's Way


Mother Sperry's Hard Sauce is a perfect match for Bread Pudding, Plum Pudding and/or Fruitcake.

You can make this recipe up to two days in advance.

This recipe is from Winnie Sperry, producer of Mother Sperry's Plum Pudding.

1 stick softened unsalted butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar
2 or more tablespoons good brandy

Cream butter with sugar. Add brandy. Beat until light. Chill.

Serve over warmed plum pudding or bread pudding. Yum.
