Marshall's Haute Sauce Company - Portland, OR

Founded in Portland, Oregon, by Sarah Marshall from her home kitchen. Sarah's love for canning and preserving local ingredients lead to creating this beautiful and tasty product line. It wasn't long before she recruited her husband Dirk Marshall to chop and prep all the ingredients. The business quickly outgrew their home and they now run out of a commercial kitchen in South East Portland.

Marshall’s Haute Sauce Company creates delicious fresh and local small batch hot sauces to those that crave both flavor and heat. They use unusual spice blends and flavor combinations, and still bring the heat. Each batch is hand stamped and a real labor of love.

All of Marshall's hot sauces are gluten free, and vegetarian (serrano and habanero sauce are vegan, red and barbeque contain honey). They don’t use any binders, additives, or other unrecognizable stuff; their sauces are made of vegetables, vinegar, spices, and sometimes sugar or local honey. That’s it!

You have a knack for writing and should consider writing books, and or team up with David Leibovitz (old pastry chef at Chez Panisse…who now lives in Paris)….he has a wonderful news letter also.  I always take my time reading both of your newsletter ( yours and his)  as there is so much care put into them.
