Winnie's Hard Sauce Recipe
Winnie includes a recipe for the traditional accompaniment of hard sauce or brandy butter, but once in a while, the recipes may not make it into the box. Here it is.
Make this sauce two or more hours before serving the plum pudding...it's easy!
Cream 1 stick of softened butter with 1/2 cup powdered sugar. Whip 'til light. Add 2 tablespoons good brandy. Beat until fluffy. Chill.

Ingredients: Raisins, Currents, Candied Fruit (corn syrup, orange peel, grapefruit peel, lemon peel, cherries, pineapple, water, citric acid, potassium sorbate, sodium benzoate, FD & C Red #4, FD & C Yellow #5, FD & C Blue #1, Turmeric, sulfur dioxide), beef suit, sugar, eggs, brandy, apples, bread crumbs (bleached wheat flour, dextrose, partially hydrogenated soybean oil, palm oil, yeast, salt), Whole Wheat Flour, Spices, Salt.
