Honey Roasted Nuts Recipe

Ingredients

Sheet pan with parchment paper

2 tabelspoons butter

1/3 cup honey

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

1/2 kilo of mix of nuts - 1.1 pounds

        cashew, peanuts, walnuts, pecans

--------------------------------

sugar of any kind

Sea salt

Honey Roasted Nuts Recipe


Preheat the oven to 325F

1. In a saucepan on low heat, heat the butter, honey, extract, and cinnamon to blend

2. Turn off the heat and add your nuts to the pan and mix to fully coat. Try to get the mixture on the nuts

3. Transfer to a sheet pan covered with parchment paper and spread out evenly

4. Bake for about 20 minutes, about halfway thru the time move the nuts around to even the roasting

5. Watch carefully to ensure that you do not burn your nuts! They can go from looking good to burnt quickly!

6. Remove from the oven, stir, salt and sugar the nuts and then let them cool - the sugar adds a little textrue and sweetness
