Korean BBQ Marinade Recipe

Add some asian flare to your BBQ repertoire. We found this in the July issue of Bon Appetit. Perfect for short ribs or flank steak!




Ingredients:
1/2 cup Kishibori Shoyu (soy sauce)
2 Tbsp. water
1 1/2 demerara sugar
1 Tbsp. minced garlic
1 tsp asian sesame oil
1 tsp. grated, peeled, fresh ginger
1/2 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/2 chopped scallions

Directions:
1. In a medium bowl whisk together the soy sauce, water, sugar, garlic, sesame oil, ginger, and pepper.

2. Stir in the scallions

3. Cover and chill up to 1 day

Yield: YIELD enough for 2-3 lbs of meat
