Ginger Thins Recipe

Ingredients

3/4 cup butter
 
1 cup dark Muscovado sugar
 
1 beaten egg
 
1/4 cup molasses
 
1  1/2 cups sifted all purpose flour
 
1/4 teaspoon salt
 
1/2  teaspoon baking soda
 
1/2  teaspoon cloves
 
1/2  teaspoon cinnamon
 
1/2  teaspoon ground ginger

Classic recipe from the Joy of Cooking - simple easy and fun - small dots of cookies

Preheat the oven to 325°f 

 

Line a sheet pan with parchment paper

 

1. Combine the ingredients and stir until smooth

 

2. Put dots of 1 teaspoon of dough, 1 inch apart on the sheet pan and bake 5 to 6 minutes

 

3. Transfer parchment paper to cool on a rack
