Classic Bruschetta Recipe
Bruschetta is a classic Italian antipasti, and its about as simple and delicious as you can imagine.
Ingredients:
Baguette -- the nicest italian-style one you can find one
Freshly-pressed Olive Oil (Olio Nuovo)
Fresh garlic - ideally hard-neck
Sea Salt - ideally flake salt, but fluer de sel works too
Directions:
Slice baguette into thin (1/4 inch) slices and toast
Rub toast with fresh, raw garlic. If using soft-neck garlic, don't over-do it. But if using hard-neck, feel free to go to town.
Place garlic-rubbed toast on platter and drizzle with copious amount of freshly-pressed olive oil (Olio Nuovo)
