Killer Garlic Chicken Recipe


3 heads of garlic - cloves peeled and slice paper thin

50 grams fresh ginger - cubed so they can be removed after baking

2 tablespoons white miso

6 oz / 3/4 cup chicken stock

8 chicken thighs 

salt and pepper to finish


Killer Garlic Chicken Recipe 

this is a work in progress - test it at your own risk, though it should repel vampires


1. Peel and slice the garlic cloves

2. Cut the ginger into large pieces

3. In a saucepan warm the chicken stock and miso

4. add the garlic and ginger and simmer untill the steam smells like garlic

5. remove from the heat and let cool

6. place chicken in a ziplock bag and pour in the marinade and chill for 24 hours

7. Place chicken and all the garlic, ginger, and liquid in a glass baking oven proof dish 

8. in a 350F oven cook the chicken to 165F - about 30 to 45 minutes 

9. when done remove the ginger pieces.

10. Serve chicken with sauce and garlic slice.

Salt and pepper to taste. Goes well with rice, wild rice, cooked tomato.
