Indian Pudding
Recipe
ingredients:
5 cups scalded milk
1/2 cup molasses
1/3 cup corn meal / polenta
1 tablespoon butter
1 teaspoon ginger
instructions:
#1: Pour milk slowly onto the polenta, and cook in a double boiler for 20 minutes
#2: Add salt and molasses and ginger
#3: Pour into buttered pudding dish.
#4: Bake 2 hours in a slow oven. (300ºF) Do not overheat.
