Grilled Fruit Packets Recipe

Ingredients

2 pounds of washed, fresh fruit. Peaches, Nectarines, Blueberries, Raspberries, Cherries, whatever you like. Peaches and Nectarines need to be cut into pieces. 

3 tablespoons demerara sugar 

8 teaspoons unsalted butter, room temperature 

Freshly ground white pepper, to taste

Grilled Fruit Packets Recipe

This is a perfect camping recipe. Really takes advantage of whatever fruit is available at the time, and takes advantage of the work and toil you put into building that camp fire. This recipe does require bowls, though. Perfect served either over honey or vanilla ice cream, or topped with Honey Creme Fraiche. Yum!

directions:

1. Place fruit in bowl, and mix in demerara sugar. Place 8 aluminum foil squares out, and divide fruit among then. Top each with teaspoon of unsalted butter. Top with a grind of white pepper.

2. Close by folding edges of foil together. Place packets on grill grates. Grill for 10 minutes.

3. Pull packets off grill and let them cool for a few minutes. Open packets (carefully), and place fruit in individual serving bowls. Top with Honey Creme Fraiche and serve.
