Steen's Home Style Molasses Cake Recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups flour sifted - or GF = 145 g GF flour, 26 g rice flour, 30g almond flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/4 teaspoon baking soda


1 egg

2 tablespoons sugar


1 Cup Steen's Dark Molasses

1/3 cup rice bran oil


1/2 cup milk

2 teaspoons vanilla

1. Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda and whisk

2. Beat the egg and the sugar until creamy 

3. Add the Steen's dark molasses and mix well

4. Add the oil and mix well

5. Add the dry ingredients, beat 100 strokes with a wooden spoon or with mixer for three minutes at medium speed.

6. Add the milk and vanilla. Mix to combine. Do not overbeat.

7.  Pour into a cake pan and bake at 375 F until done. About 30 minutes
