These bright pink dried berries are not actually pepper -- their flavor is much milder, but they're excellent for brightening the flavors of your favorite dishes. Regular peppercorns (black, green, or white) have much stronger heat and will disguise the flavor of the pink ones, so it's best to use them separately.
