Lemony Syrup!
Just the right touch!

The preserved lemon syrup from Morris Kitchen has a nice sweet sour lemony flavor. (It’s quite wonderful!)

When you first pour a little into a tablespoon you will notice a few red specs in the syrup and it might make you take pause before popping into your mouth. With cardamom and pink peppercorns in the mix it makes sense and perhaps the secret to why it’s so good!

When Morris Kitchen Preserved Lemon Syrup is taken by a tablespoon in the mouth you can feel the tingle on your tongue, but the flavor itself is a sweet and sour lemon flavor. But don’t think it’s some strange mix of flavors, as it is still lemon syrup, with the spices adding a nice tang.

They recommend making a sparkling lemon Spitzer, warming a little lemon tea or making a preserved lemon cocktail.

I first added it to just a little bit of bubbly water. A good tablespoon adds just the right amount of flavor and sweetness. It’s good!
