Argencove began with a group of friends who shared a deep love of great food and an unexpected curiosity: what makes truly exceptional chocolate? That question sparked a years-long adventure—one that took three Australian families across the world in search of knowledge, flavor, and purpose.

Their journey wound through Central America, cacao farms, and chocolate workshops, where they studied orchards, fermentation methods, and the craft of transforming cacao into something transcendent. They listened, learned, tasted, and tested. Along the way, they discovered that the most expressive chocolate begins long before the factory—rooted in healthy soil, thriving ecosystems, and mindful cultivation.

After exploring 20 countries, the founders of Argencove chose Nicaragua as their home. The country’s fertile land, ideal climate, and warm, welcoming communities offered the perfect environment to grow cacao with care. There, they built an agroforestry cacao orchard and a tree-to-bar chocolate company grounded in curiosity, respect for nature, and a desire to elevate flavor through thoughtful stewardship of the land.

Every Argencove bar reflects this philosophy: chocolate crafted with intention, grown in a diverse and balanced ecosystem, and shaped by a commitment to continuous learning.
