Cancellation policy

ChefShop.com Pre-Sell & Pre-Order Cancellation Policy

At ChefShop.com, we offer select specialty items on a pre-sell (pre-order) basis—allowing customers to reserve limited or seasonal products well in advance, sometimes up to a year before availability.

1. When You're Charged

  • You are not charged at the time of placing a pre-order.
  • We will only charge your payment method once the item becomes available and is confirmed for shipment.

2. Cancellation Window

  • You may cancel your pre-order at any time before your order is charged and shipped, provided the following conditions are met:
  • You must contact us in writing (email preferred) and receive confirmation that we have received your cancellation request.
  • Once we confirm your cancellation, your order will be voided and you will not be charged.

3. After Shipment

  • Once a pre-ordered item has shipped and payment has been processed, the order is considered final.
  • At that point, cancellations or refunds are no longer possible, except in cases where the product arrives damaged or defective (see our Refund Policy for details).

Please include your order number and the product you wish to cancel. We will reply to confirm receipt of your cancellation.

5. Special Considerations

  • Pre-sell items are typically seasonal, small-batch, or sourced from international suppliers. Availability may be subject to factors beyond our control (e.g., harvests, import delays, or production issues).
  • If we are unable to fulfill your pre-order for any reason, we will notify you and your order will be automatically canceled at no charge to you.
