A Taste of Belgium, Made in Montreal!

Allo Simonne brings together the best of two worlds—Belgian chocolate know-how and Quebecois creativity. Founded in 2018 by friends Quentin Ryckaert and Vincent Coja, the brand grew from a shared love of flavor, craftsmanship, and the simple joy of spreading something extraordinary on a piece of toast.

Quentin, a graduate of the École hôtelière provinciale de Namur in Belgium, found his passion in pastry and chocolate. Vincent, once a roofer, brought precision, patience, and an entrepreneurial spirit. Together they began crafting the kinds of nut and chocolate spreads they wished existed—ones that celebrate real ingredients, balanced sweetness, and uncompromising texture.

Their workshop in Montreal now hums with the sounds of roasting nuts, grinding chocolate, and filling jars by hand. Every step—from bean selection to packaging—happens under one roof, giving Allo Simonne full control over quality and flavor.

Each spread captures the warmth of home and the sophistication of fine chocolate. There are no shortcuts—no palm oil, no excess sugar, no preservatives—just a focus on purity, innovation, and pleasure. Many are vegan, diabetic-friendly, and safe for those with peanut allergies, showing that indulgence can be both thoughtful and inclusive.

Their dedication has not gone unnoticed: Allo Simonne has earned multiple honors at the International Chocolate Awards (2017, 2019, 2022, 2023)—recognition of their mastery of flavor and texture.

Their name pays tribute to Simonne Allo, Quentin’s grandmother—a woman remembered for her generosity, modernity, and love of good food. Her spirit infuses every jar: joyful, curious, and always ready to share something delicious.

From the first spoonful, you’ll taste what makes Allo Simonne special—the luxurious texture of hazelnuts, the depth of roasted cacao, and a sense of craft that connects Belgium’s pastry heritage with Montreal’s creative energy.
