Please contact us as soon as possible by phone or through this form. Be sure to include your order number, as it helps us expedite the process.

If the box is damaged, please keep it—shippers sometimes require the original packaging to process a refund.

Photos of any damaged products are also very helpful.

The cost of shipping the original item, the return shipment, and the exchanged item is the responsibility of the customer, unless ChefShop.com has committed a shipping or order error. Round-trip shipping charges will be the responsibility of the customer on orders that are shipped by ChefShop.com in good faith but are returned due to incorrect shipping information provided by the customer.

No item can be returned without prior authorization. Items returned to ChefShop.com without prior authorization will not be processed. To request authorization, please call ChefShop.com Customer Service at 1-800-596-0885.


Orders Damaged in Shipping

While every effort is made to package and fulfill orders correctly, occasionally a package may be lost or damaged in transit, or an out-of-date product may be shipped by mistake.

To ensure your order is received complete, undamaged, and within the sell-by date, we recommend the following:

  1. Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage before accepting it, and note any damage on the delivery ticket before the delivery person leaves.
  2. Verify the number of packages delivered matches the label on the outside of the box.
  3. Unpack your order as soon as possible, and inspect for hidden or concealed damage and check sell-by dates.
  4. If any damage is discovered, retain the shipping cartons and any inner packaging, in case we need the carrier to inspect them.

ChefShop.com will cover return shipping for items sent in error, received defective or damaged, or shipped past their sell-by date.
