ChefShop.com Refund Policy
You may return any regularly stocked item within 20 days of receiving your order for a full refund or exchange, provided the item is in its original packaging and condition. Special orders may be returned within 10 days of receipt but are subject to a 50% restocking fee. Items that have been opened or used are not eligible for return. Opened products are not considered safe for resale and should not be returned.
Shipping costs for the original order, return shipment, and any exchanged items are the responsibility of the customer—unless the return is due to an error made by ChefShop.com in shipping or order fulfillment. Round-trip shipping charges will also be the customer’s responsibility for items returned due to incorrect shipping information provided to ChefShop.com at the time of ordering.
Important: No item may be returned without prior authorization. Unauthorized returns will not be accepted or processed. To request a return authorization, please contact us at shopkeeper@chefshop.com.
Orders Damaged in Shipping
While we make every effort to carefully package and accurately fulfill each order, occasionally a package may be lost or damaged in transit, or an expired product may be shipped in error.
To ensure your order is received complete, undamaged, and within the proper sell-by date, we recommend the following upon delivery:
Inspect the entire shipment for visible damage before accepting it. If damage is visible, note it on the delivery ticket before the delivery driver leaves.
Verify that the number of packages received matches the shipping label on the box.
Unpack your order promptly and inspect for hidden damage or expired items.
If any damage or issues are found, retain all original packaging and shipping materials, as carriers may require inspection.
Then contact ChefShop.com Customer Service at shopkeeper@chefshop.com or call 206-286-9988. Please have your order number, shipping details, and tracking number available to assist us. Do not return any items before contacting us.
ChefShop.com will cover return shipping costs for any item sent in error, received in a defective or damaged condition, or shipped beyond its sell-by date.
International Orders
All orders, including international orders, are shipped from our warehouse in Washington State, USA.
Most international orders are shipped via the U.S. Postal Service (USPS) unless another service is requested. UPS International shipping is available upon request.
ChefShop.com is not responsible for packages that are undelivered due to issues with local postal services in your country. Refunds for such returns will only be issued for the product cost, and only if the returned item arrives back to us in a resalable condition.
If a package is returned to us due to local postal service delays, inefficiencies, or delivery failures unrelated to an error on our part, a full refund will not be issued.
If you are concerned about the reliability of your local postal service, we strongly encourage you to contact us before placing your order. We can arrange for shipment via a private carrier such as FedEx, UPS, or DHL at your expense.
