Arcelia starts with Bahia* oranges (grown in Bahia region of Brazil) which she peel and candy themselves to make crystallized orange rind - which is then sprinkled on top of the chocolate.

This bar combines Arcelia's 70% Brazilian dark chocolate with candied Bahia orange peels, which Arcelia candies herself and which are soft, sweet and at times pleasantly bitter. If you like the flavor combination of orange and chocolate, then you should try this bar - your mouth will thank you.

*In the1800's, the Bahia Orange was taken from Brazil to Riverside, California and was renamed navel orange.
