Let your tongue touch first and it will tingle with the taste of salt. Bite in and the blend of the licorice with the salt changes the effect completly. The salt is not so much salt, but more tingly. Totally intriguing mouth event.

Salty licorice candy is the absolute favorite in the nordic countries, but the roots come from Iran.
