distilled water, vinegar, sweet potato, filtered water, onion, aged ghost pepper (ghost pepper, salt), grapefruit juice, organic agave nectar, empress's select aged peppers 9taiwan chili pepper, salt), garlic, salt, lime juice, maqaw pepper, xanthan gum

5 oz bottle - Taiwan

To the eye, it has the same nice orange color, very pleasant looking and a little misleading. Friendly is not its middle name. This pepper is hot and it jumps out at you and for me all the way to the back of my throat.

One dip of the tongue and my head is exploding and the towel is out.

A sip gives you a nice sweet feel before everything explodes. The tingling is hot, and has some fire. My mouth is not quite burning because that’s the wrong word. Exploding is the wrong word as well but it is in there. For me, remember I am wimpy, it’s so hot my ears are sweating.

To a real hot person, what they are gonna find is it that this has a lot of flavor, a lot of personality and some good heat.

Our favourite cocoa I have 8 varieties of cocoa at home -- red cocoa, black cocoa, natural cocoa, and several high-end specialty cocoas (Barry Extra Brut, Valrhona, Guittard, Ghirardelli...). My family goes through enormous quantities of cocoa powder -- for hot cocoa, brownies, chocolate cakes, cookies... and this is by far our favourite. It has depth, complexity, and richness. While the specialty cocoas are excellent, I find they can sometimes be quite bitter, lack richness or body. This one is always perfect for whatever we are making. And being in Canada, I go to great lengths to buy this cocoa -- that should tell you how much we love it! - Monika
