Dr Adam's Christmas Bitters - 100 ml bottle - Scotland - Special Sweet Surprise is Bitter What a wonderful Bitters! Don't let the name, either Christmas or Bitter think this is not a timely treat! When you taste it it's an eye-opening flavor. It's not what you expect, and not like the "healthy" bitters, this one makes you think of cakes and cookies! “You could not make bitters” Adam said whilst stifling a laugh.... After hearing these words, Heather decided to do everything she could to make the Christmas Bitters she promised she could make. In order to keep this very special present under wraps she called upon Santa Claus who told her she could borrow a couple of his elves, as long as he had them back by Christmas Eve. One of the elves kindly made her a beautiful label so that her bitters would stand out and the other let her use his grotto and some tools from his workshop. After all that, she came up with a recipe and set to work. That's what's here in the Christmas Bitters.

Our favourite cocoa
I have 8 varieties of cocoa at home -- red cocoa, black cocoa, natural cocoa, and several high-end specialty cocoas (Barry Extra Brut, Valrhona, Guittard, Ghirardelli...). My family goes through enormous quantities of cocoa powder -- for hot cocoa, brownies, chocolate cakes, cookies... and this is by far our favourite. It has depth, complexity, and richness. While the specialty cocoas are excellent, I find they can sometimes be quite bitter, lack richness or body. This one is always perfect for whatever we are making. And being in Canada, I go to great lengths to buy this cocoa -- that should tell you how much we love it! - Monika
