Masaya lies within one of the distinctive microclimates surrounding Granada, an area shaped by lakes, fertile landscapes, and active volcanoes. Argencove named the bar for Masaya National Park, celebrating the Nicaraguan landscape that surrounds the farm and chocolate factory where its cacao is grown and transformed into chocolate.

Delicate citrus and cherry-like fruit notes brighten the chocolate, while a rich cocoa character develops as it melts. Toward the finish, subtle warm-spice notes emerge, including a suggestion of sweet cinnamon. The overall profile is smooth and well balanced, with restrained bitterness and a creamy melt.
