Rich, nutty, fruity, and just a little boozy, this 70% dark chocolate bar from Stonegrindz layers several big flavors without losing sight of the chocolate underneath.
The base is Stonegrindz’s 50/50 blend of cacao from Ecuador and Peru, creating a deep, balanced dark chocolate with enough structure to stand up to the inclusions. Sweet bourbon-coated pecans are folded into the chocolate, bringing roasted nuttiness, caramelized sugar, and warm bourbon notes, while freshly dried dark cherries are scattered across the back of the bar for a chewy burst of tart fruit.
Together, the flavors suggest maple, candied pecan, bourbon, and dark cherry, with the fruit providing just enough acidity to cut through the richness of the nuts and chocolate.
