Join us Saturday, December 12, for our Stocking Stuffer Extravaganza—a free tasting event dedicated to finding little gifts that deliver a whole lot of happiness.

We're opening up our Chocolate Tasting Library and inviting you to explore! With craft chocolate from makers around the world, we'll help you find just the right bars for the people on your holiday gift list. Something fruity and bright for the adventurous eater? Deep, dark chocolate for the serious cacao lover? A delightfully unexpected flavor combination for the friend who has everything? We'll help you find a match.

And chocolate is just the beginning. We'll also be opening an assortment of other delicious nibbles from around the shop—special little treats that make wonderful stocking stuffers, hostess gifts, or petite presents for teachers, neighbors, coworkers, and anyone who deserves a tasty surprise.

Taste before you gift, discover something new, and let us help you put together delicious little surprises for everyone on your list. You might even find something to tuck into your own stocking!

Our favourite cocoa I have 8 varieties of cocoa at home -- red cocoa, black cocoa, natural cocoa, and several high-end specialty cocoas (Barry Extra Brut, Valrhona, Guittard, Ghirardelli...). My family goes through enormous quantities of cocoa powder -- for hot cocoa, brownies, chocolate cakes, cookies... and this is by far our favourite. It has depth, complexity, and richness. While the specialty cocoas are excellent, I find they can sometimes be quite bitter, lack richness or body. This one is always perfect for whatever we are making. And being in Canada, I go to great lengths to buy this cocoa -- that should tell you how much we love it! - Monika
