Made from the rare white cacao bean - often referred to as the "holy grail" of cacao. SOMA managed to secure a few bags of from the region south of Lake Maracaibo in Venezuela. Estacion Experimental Chama is a germplasm bank dedicated to preserving the Porcelana, and most of their harvest is reserved for re-planting. A gentle roast and conch exposes an extraordinary and complex chocolate with delicate notes. Very round with a very long finish: quiet and mighty. Tasting notes: cream, cashew, figs, grass, strawberries, coconut, honey, orange marmalade
