Plum Powder Chicken Wings Recipe

Refreshing, lightly sour-sweet, great on a hot day.

Ingredients:
1 lb chicken wings
5 tbsp soy sauce
2 tbsp rice wine (or dry sherry)
1 tbsp ginger, grated - use a microplane over the chicken until lightly covered
2 tbsp flour or potato starch (for coating)
2 tsp plum powder (to toss after frying or baking)


Instructions:


1. Marinate chicken wings with soy sauce, rice wine, and ginger for 30 minutes.

2. Coat lightly in flour/starch.

3. Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30–35 min (or deep fry until golden).

4. Toss hot wings with plum powder just before serving.
