Double Tall Chocolate Brownie Recipe

They’re so rich and chocolatey, a bite or two will be very satisfying!

This recipe is double the quantity of what would usually go into an 8-inch by 8-inch pan and makes extra-tall brownies. Cut them into 1” squares.

Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease and flour an 8-inch by 8-inch pan.

 2. Melt the butter in a large saucepan. Remove from heat, and stir in sugar, eggs, and vanilla. Mix in the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder. Be gentle

3. Pour mixture into prepared pan; sprinkle top with chocolate discs. Bake for 15 minutes; then swirl melted discs into the brownies. Return pan to oven and continue to bake, 20-30 minutes more; be careful not to overcook.

4. Remove brownies from oven and cool completely; remove from pan before cutting into squares.
