Crouton with Olio Nuovo and Sea Salt

This is one of my favorite things to serve as an hors d'oeuvre. A little messy, but so worth it -- and so easy to make.

Ingredients:
A loaf of good Italian or French bread - long baguette works best.
Olio Nuovo olive oil
good Italian sea salt

Directions:1. slice the bread into thin-ish slices and toast in toaster oven or under broiler.

2. Place toasted bread slices on a platter, and drizzle generously with the best olio nuovo you can find.

3. Sprinkle oil soaked bread with sea salt -- not too much or it will be too salty. Serve with small plates or napkins.
