Libby's Famous Pumpkin Pie Recipe
Ingredients:
1 can 29 ounces Libby's 100% pure pumpkin
3 cups 24 fluid ounces carnation evaporated milk
1 1/2 cups, granulated sugar
4 large eggs
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
2 unbaked 9 inch deep dish pie shells
Whipped cream
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in a medium bowl
Beat eggs in a large bowl
Stir in pumpkin and dry ingredients mix mixture
Gradually stir in milk
Pour mixture into pie shells
Bake and preheated 420°F oven for 15 minutes
Reduce temperature to 350°F and bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until knife insurgent near center comes out clean.
Cool on wire rack for two hours.
Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Top with whip whipped cream before serving.
