Chocolate Syrup Recipe
1/2 cup water
100 grams - 1/2 cup Golden Bakers Sugar - this had the right hint of "maple" sugar. White sugar works as well.
1/4 tsp Chocolate Bitters
1/3 to 1/2 cup ChefShop Cocoa Powder
Big pinch of of fine sea salt
40 grams - 1/4 cup dark chocolate
2 tablespoons unsalted Butter - you can omit this for a dairy free, or you could substitute coconut milk.
1/2 teaspoon 2x Vanilla extract

Easy, quick, satisfying. In minutes, you can make this chocolate syrup recipe and it's ready to use. Stores for a day or so, though it is much easier to use when it is still warm. Drizzle or spooning works well.
How to Make Chocolate Syrup:
1. Measure all the ingredients ahead.
2. In a double-boiler or a windsor or a saucepan combine water and sugar.
3. Heat medium low, whisking constantly.
4. Add cocoa powder and pinch of salt, and whisk to blend
5. Add the butter if you choose and melt completely, lower the heat to low
