Join us Saturday, June 20, for a Father's Day event that’s all about bold flavor, strong opinions, and maybe a little heat. Remind you of anyone?

We’ll be pouring a lineup of hot sauces that goes well beyond “how spicy is it?”—from bright and tangy to smoky, savory, and slow-building heat that sneaks up on you. Some sauces hit fast. Others linger. The best ones keep you coming back.

It’s a chance to taste across styles, compare notes, and find something that fits—whether he’s a heat-seeker, a flavor-first skeptic, or the kind of dad who already has a favorite and is willing to defend it.

Come by, try them all, and see where you land. You might find the perfect Father’s Day gift…or at least a new argument starter.

Heads Up: We'll also be tasting out spicy chocolate bars, so you may want to bring a glass of milk! Think, scotch bonnet, aji chombo, and more surprising combos.

Our favourite cocoa I have 8 varieties of cocoa at home -- red cocoa, black cocoa, natural cocoa, and several high-end specialty cocoas (Barry Extra Brut, Valrhona, Guittard, Ghirardelli...). My family goes through enormous quantities of cocoa powder -- for hot cocoa, brownies, chocolate cakes, cookies... and this is by far our favourite. It has depth, complexity, and richness. While the specialty cocoas are excellent, I find they can sometimes be quite bitter, lack richness or body. This one is always perfect for whatever we are making. And being in Canada, I go to great lengths to buy this cocoa -- that should tell you how much we love it! - Monika
