Strawberry and Banana Smoothie with Camelina Oil Recipe
A fruit smoothie is a great way to start your day. Add a little high-omega-3 camelina oil, and that smoothie will not only be heart-healthy, but stay with our longer and help to get you to lunch. If you already add flaxseed oil to your morning routine, try camelina instead. I think you will like the taste. ingredients: 1/2 cup of apple juice 2 ripe bananas 1/2 cup of orange juice, freshly squeezed 1/2 tsp of Heilala 2x Pure Vanilla Extract 3/4 cup of natural yogurt or sheep milk yogurt - ideally gress fed 2 tablespoons of raw honey of your choice 3 tablespoons of Camelina Oil 2 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries Directions: Place all ingredients in a blender and blend on low just long enough to mix ingredients well. Serve immediately or refrigerate until ready to consume.
