Fresh Tomato Salsa Recipe
A great crowd pleaser, and a perfect match to your Reed Avocado guacamole.
This recipes adapted from Alice Water's cookbook,
The Art of Simple Food (Clarkson Potter Publishers, 2007)
Ingredients:
1 Reed Avocado (or 2 Hass Avocados)
2 medium ripe tomatoes - cored and medium diced
1 clove Anselmo garlic - peeled and shopped fine
1/2 white or red onion, diced fine
6 cilantro sprig (stem and leaves) - chopped
juice of one lime
salt to taste
Directions:
put all ingredients in a bowl. Stir gently and add more salt and lime juice as needed. Let sit for 5 minutes to allow the flavors to develop.
