VISA commercials.

Do you remember; "... so leave your troubles behind, but bring your VISA card, beacause at Fog City they take things easy but they don't take American Express. VISA. It's everywhere you want to be."

An awesomely shot bunch of commercials with catchy copy.

Eating here back then it was good with lines, reservations and the food was upscale diner food. Worth it. The recipes in the cookbook are good too.

Favorites are the Mahi-Mahi with sautéed spinach and caramelized shallots (p128). Pork Chop with Ginger Applesauce (p 146). The carrots and the squash dishes are easy and diner like. Perfect!

You can only find used these days. Out of print. The good news is you can find if for cheap. They often have it at Powells.
