**Hot Cocoa Recipe**
This is a classic hot cocoa recipe - perfect for a rich, unsweetneed cocoa powder like Pernigotti Cocoa Powder.
ingredients:
1/2 cup super fine sugar
1/3 cup hot water
1/4 cup Pernigotti Cocoa Powder
4 cups whole milk (or 2 cups milk and 2 cups light cream or half-and-half)
1/8 teaspoons fine sea salt
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
directions:
1. Mix sugar, hot water, cocoa powder and salt together in a saucepan. Stir over medium heat until mixture boils. Cook, stirring constantly, for 1 minute.
2. Remove from heat and stir in milk. Continue to heat -- but do not let mixture boil. Remove from hear and add vanilla. Blend and serve immediately.

Please note that the cocoa comes in a "service pack." It is sealed in a thick plastic bag for production baking, and the bag attracts cocoa powder to the exterior during packaging. This is quite normal and will not affect the product.
