7 oz - England
With 75% mango, this chutney is spicy with ginger, hot with chili, and sweet with sugar.
A spoonful of this chutney seems like it might keep the doctor away.
Strange as an idea as this might sound, both Megan and I put Hot Mango Chutney on our Pappardelle pasta for lunch and confessed that it was quite good. We might never mention it in public again, but for lunch it was quite fun.
A spicy flavor that doesn't just bury the fruit.
Cider vinegar, fresh ginger, fresh garlic, mustard seed, and
dried chile combine to add wonderful aromatic flavor and medium heat to the fruit. It is
the perfect condiment for just about any curry.
