Lavender is Botanical Bakery's signature Shortbread Cookie. They use lavender buds from Rock Hill Estate in Sonoma. They have proprietary process to deliver the purest lavender buds/blossoms possible. The combination is heavenly -- with a perfect balance of herbaceousness and sweetness. Nothing perfume-y or soap-y here.

Sondra is not a baker by trade, just a foodie with an entrepreneurial spirit. A passion for entertaining, and a craving for that intimate moment when you watch someone taste something extraordinary for the first time.

After five years of prodding, and some mediocre feedback, she tabled the idea. But then, she woke up in the middle of the night last year with an overwhelming confidence that it was now time. So she spent the year doing research and spending loads of time in the kitchen baking, and then launched this company with a bang. It has been a long time coming.
