A great lentil for soups
I like to make lentil soup as well as to put some lentils into a soup like beef or chicken with vegetables. Because of their high protein content, good flavor, and interesting color, Beluga lentils work very well for this. You almost can't go wrong with them because of their small size and short cooking time. An excellent staple for making something imaginative when the refrigerator is a bit low on supplies.
