Red's Grilled Smoked Gouda & Bacon Jam Sandwich Recipe

Megan just described this sandwich to a local Bacon Jam addict, and it sounded so great....

ingredients:
Rosemary Bread (or a good, rustic style bread)
Smoked Gouda
Bacon Jam
Fresh Arugula
Sliced Apples
Butter or Lard from grilling

directions:
1. Smear slice of bread with bacon jam. Add slice of gouda, fresh arugula leaves, and slices of apple. Top with another slice of bread.

2. Melt tablespoon of lard in a hot skillet. Grill sandwich on both sides until brown, and cheese is melted.
