Pinhead Oatmeal with Dried Cranberries Recipe

I have always made my oats with raisins -- but dried cranberries is a nice change.

ingredients
1 cup pinhead oats
3 cups water
1/4 cup dried cranberries

directions:
Put one cup of pin-head oatmeal into a heavy-bottom pan. Add cold water and stir well. Add cranberries and a pinch of good salt and heat slowly. When the oats starts to simmer, turn down the heat and put a lid on. Simmer on low until water is absorbed - about 20 minutes. Turn off heat and leave on stove for a few minutes to complete cooking. Serve immediately.
