This wonderful handcrafted salt from Bali is made by hauling buckets of sea water to the black beaches of the local volcano and allowing evaporation to occur.
But what really matters is that this salt is like no other. Beautiful crystals, stark white, (and hard to photograph!) and light to the touch. It is absolutely crunchy in the mouth and comparatively light on the saltiness. I love this as a finishing salt at the table. If you like crunch without worrying that you might pop a filling out, this is a good one!
